After one of the worst January’s on record here in Steamboat. Winter is back in full force. With over 4 feet of snow falling on Mt Werner thru Feb 28th and March starting off with a bang. This season just got turned upside down!
As of 2pm (MST) on March 1st the National Weather Services has released a Winter Storm Warning detailing up to 2 feet of powder by March 4th! This is a wonderful start to the month here in Steamboat Springs. For the past few months every time we get a new winter storm warning we always hope for the best. But January wasn’t even close to providing that excitement hopeful large sums of snow.
Now with a base of 62″ and Powder conditions with more snow on the way. 2015 looks to improve greatly on it’s lackluster beginning. If you are planning on taking a last minute trip up to snowy Steamboat check out some great Steamboat Lodging offers!
